More Peaks Into My Home

I think I'm starting to run out of ideas for photos :) I couldn't think of anything very exciting to take a picture of today, so I decided to take some more pictures of things around my home that I love. The first one is of my tree. I don't even know what kind it is, but I love it & luckily, it's been loving me back! I don't really have a green thumb, so I'm very happy that this tree has survived for me. I captured this picture during one of the few brief moments that the sun was shining through our family room window today.

The next picture is of my coffee table. I recently purchased these 2 purple vases, but still haven't figured out how to display them on the table or if I want to put anything in them, so they will probably get rearranged a lot.

Here is a picture of a bookcase that I purchased at a Hallmark store that was going out of business several years ago. As soon as I saw that they were selling their displays, I just knew I had to buy this. Can you tell I love purple glass? :)

Lastly, this is a picture of my curio cabinet that is home to my Seraphim Angel collection. I started collecting this angels right after I lost my sister & brother-in-law last year. This picture isn't the best, though as it was hard to get a good one with the mirror in the back of the cabinet.

That's it for now.....off to go bowling. Have a great night,
Benita

Nice snapshots of different things in your home. I like the way the light and shadows fall on your plants. Those photos are really cool.

You have a beautiful angel collection. My mom would love it! She collects angels too.

I love how you use light in reflection and shadow in all of these photographs.

great shots of your home purchases-my favorite is the first one with the stripes of light across the plant leaves :)

I have a plant like that too and have no idea what it is...seems to be good for those of us without green thumbs. Looks great with the light coming in on it!

Great shot! I have "0" plants in my house, they don't seem to like the temp changes between summer and winter.
