Welcome Back, Blog :)

(click on image for better view)

First things first.....I'd just like to say thank-you to everyone for their wonderful comments on my last blog entry. I was trying to email personal replies to everyone, but can't figure out how to do it through blogger. So thanks.....your comments gave me hope, encouragement & strength! So much so that I even decided to do a layout (above) about the "Ch Ch Ch Changes" I'm making in my life :) And I'm proud to say that I've been doing pretty good! By cutting back my computer time, I've been spending a lot more time on my scrapbooking & with my family & it feels so good! You can see the layout better here: ChChChChanges. I also decided to stick with my blog, even if I don't get to update it as much as I used to, so thanks for persuading me to keep it :)

I'm also determined not to be under so much stress anymore & I've been doing really good with that, too.....even with my son moving back home.....AGAIN! His move to DC fell through after he had already driven out there.....he was back here 2 days later. He was told that he would be able to live in the company apartment once he got there, but when he arrived, they told him that it was only for the bosses. So knowing that he couldn't afford an apartment on his own, he had no choice but to come back home & now he's currently working one job & looking for a second one. I just hope & pray that he gets himself back on his feet & starts being more responsible!

Cassie was off from school all last week for winter break......I swear, sometimes I think they're out of school more than they're in school! LOL We never had a 'winter' break when I went to school! She then tells me last night, after her break is almost over, that she wishes she would have gone somewhere during her break! ARGH! KIDS! She said almost everyone from her school went to Florida. So I told her that her & I will have to plan to do something together during her Spring Break, which is less than 2 months away. So now to decide where to go.....just the 2 of us....mother & daughter alone. Should be really nice :) She wants to go to Germany.....I told her to keep dreaming! LOL I wish I could afford to take her there, but that's definitely out right now. Maybe someday, though.

Jim's bowling in a tournament today....it's hard to explain, but they were undefeated 2 weeks ago & now today are the finals. Keep your fingers crossed that they win......first place is $2,500! I'm very proud to say that I finally got a 600 series this year......YAY ME! On the 17th, I bowled games of 218, 205 & 185 for a 608 series. Not my highest 600, but still a 600 all the same & it really felt good after the slump I've been in!

That's all for now.....off to do my weekend chores (laundry, vacuuming, cleaning.....fun, fun!). Hope you have a fabulous Sunday.

Benita
