As Promised

Here are a few pictures of my new scraproom that I've been promising to post. I still have a lot to do & organize, but it's getting there. The first picture above is of the 'indented' area in the room where I installed my shelves. This room is meant to be a family room & is huge, but my dh (the sweetie that he is, lol) let me use it as my scraproom. We also have our dining room table at the other end of this room (I'll take some pictures of that at a later time....right now, it's still cluttered with various stuff).
Here's a close-up picture of the shelves with my Prima addiction & ribbon boxes above my desks. Below the shelves are my Ikea Fira drawers which hold my chipboard alphabets, buttons & other miscellaneous items.
This is the corner where I have shelves on both walls. Here I store my ribbon jars & baskets with more Primas.
Right in front of my work surface, I have my tilt bins which hold all sorts of embellishments (brads, charms, etc., etc.), my OTT work light & my stamp pad holder is above the tilt bins.
When my dh ruined my Ikea Expedit bookcase (read my post a few weeks ago about how he hit it too hard with the rubber mallet & the bookcase didn't survive), I thought about buying a new Expedit, but since money is tight right now, I decided to just set up my Target Cubes (which I already owned anyway) to hold all my paper & other things. I took out the shelves in the 4 cubes at the bottom so I could put my Ikea wicker baskets in them & they hold all my foam stamps inside the Target Document Boxes along with items to be altered. Then I have 8 of the Target Paper Cubes which hold my Cropper Hopper paper holders (I have them on their backs so I don't have to pull the whole paper holder out when I want a sheet of paper). On top of them are 4 of the 4 drawer Target cubes which hold rick-rack, fibers & lots of miscellaneous stuff.
Like I said, I still have a lot of stuff to set up, but I'm sure I'll be posting some more pictures in the near future. So be on the lookout.
Have a great Wednesday,
Benita
